International Saas company supporting all type of industries that need to manage Innovation and Intellectual Property business processes we are looking for a Key Account Sales Manager to support the growth of the UK market. Our offer includes renowned software suite, consulting and services.
Our typical services encompass competitive intelligence, patent search and analytics, invention management, Intellectual Asset Management and IP prosecution. 
Established in France, we are present in more than 30 countries with offices in Paris, Washington, Koln, Tokyo and Beijing. 300.000 users worldwide are using our software solution worldwide.
In order to complement our 500 people, we are searching for the following candidate to be based in our Irish office:

Key Account Sales

Mission / Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the VP Europe, and leveraging our expertise, you are in charge of developing and retaining your customer portfolio. As Key Account Sales Manager for the UK, your action will focus on:

  • Firstly developing and maintaining an effective business, sales, and marketing plan for assigned territory
  • Demonstrating a good understanding of the territory and its specificities
  • Managing and growing your portfolio of existing accounts, up and cross selling
  • Then prospecting and developing a new portfolio of clients (support of an Inside sales and marketing department)
  • Addressing targeted prospects through convincing of the benefit of our solutions, show its strategic use and demonstrate its value (ROI)
  • Monitoring the competitive landscape at your customers and in the market you develop
  • Managing a complex sales process (depending on complexity, your sales cycle can be up to 6 months)
  • Leveraging of presales and customer success resources
  • Retaining customers by your interpersonal skills, establish yourself as a true partner within your large customer’s organization
  • Attending events (conferences, exhibitions…), and representing the company at trade shows
  • Finally providing regular reporting focusing on results and actions, proposing an ambitious business development plan


  • S. or B.A. degree, preferably in Marketing or Business Administration, or equivalent. Masters or MBA is a plus
  • Knowledge of innovation and intellectual property business processes
  • Language skills: you are native in English or bilingual English/French, any additional language is a plus but not compulsory
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience
  • Proven top performer (track record of selling and closing transactions over >50KEUR SaaS or 100K software)
  • History of continuously innovating on and improving sales processes and techniques
  • Team experience (entrepreneurship, etc.)
  • Passion for customer relationship and leading edge technologies
  • Have prospecting skills and highly developed solution driven acumen
  • Training in “solution” or “customer-centric” selling
  • Experience selling to industry, financial services, B2B industries, and public entities
  • We expect you to exercise leadership both internally with Europe team members and externally with our business ecosystem
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills
  • Completely at ease to report, forecast and plan its activity using a CRM
  • Position subject to frequent travelling
